After searching for homes online I got a text from Suzie who simply wanted to introduce herself as a local realtor and to let her know if we needed anything. That one text turned into sixty and I told my husband I think I have a friend in KC. We met her twice to look for homes and I couldn't have asked for a better person than Suzie to have been there with us every step of the way. I felt the entire time, she was working with us and not for herself to simply sell a house. Her services did not end after the contacts were signed, either. Closing of the house was on December 14th. My husband, Mike, was already living in KC, and moved into the house and we were moving down officially to our new home December 21st. Mike sent me a photo of a Christmas tree with handmade paper ornaments and told me Suzie dropped off an extra tree she had and her children made ornaments for us since we would not have a tree that year due to the long distance move. I was brought to tears due to the kindness she showed to our family. Even asking her own husband to shovel our driveway and sidewalks so our moving van crew could move in our things. All these things were never asked of her. They were not in the contract. They came from her heart and commitment to her clients even after the sale. With Suzie, the relationship does not end when the contract is signed and handshakes are passed around. In fact it doesn't end at all. You truly become a friend with Suzie and end up so thankful someone like her entered your life!

We were leaving the home we'd lived in for 33 years and buying two new homes, at the same time! One in San Diego and the one here in Kansas City.
